So I got another screencap while rewatching Mixed Signals. We saw this shot when Caesar was talking about how they had to give Rex nanites and why. I noticed there were acronyms, so I paused it on the spot and started to look things up. PREPARE TO O-O-OVERANALYZE!!
The acronym EKG almost certainly stands for electrocardiography. Electrocardiography is used to measure and graph things about the heart, like heartbeat rate and regularity, sizes and positions of chambers, and anomalies related to all of the above. It’s responsible for at least one of those squiggly lines on the left. I’m not sure if traditionally there’s more than one squiggly line dedicated solely to its readout, or if rather than artist’s neglect it was simply an IC choice that they didn’t need more than what they had.
EEG: Electroencephalography. It measures brain activity through sticky electrodes placed along the scalp. The charts that were on the same wiki page with this explanation showed a squiggly line with a very regular pattern (solid zig-zag-ish) rather than an irregular line with periodic spikes. That’s actually really concerning, when you think about it. Why would Rex’s brain activity be pulsing like that?
EDIT: BP kind of certainly Blood Pressure.
SYS is Systolic (a measurement of blood pressure)
DIA is Diastolic (a different measurement of blood pressure)
SBJ: … I got nothin. I looked it up cursorarily on google and there was nothing established out there related to anything medical except some random orthodontic term, so I figure it was something related specifically to the project itself. Subject Biometrics Juxtapositor?? Socially Biased Juggalo? Take a guess, any guess.
Edit: LOL APPARENTLY IT STANDS FOR SUBJECT.

Some people dance around the truth. Caesar doesn’t just dance: he flamencos around it, with style.

“Abuela, do I have to come to dinner? You just told me to come out here, and now you’re asking me to go back inside? Could you please not do this again, this completely disturbed my mental process of focus and information retention, I’ve been waiting for this paper to get through to this journal for weeks and…”
So I did my occasional round of ‘ascribe themes to numbers and have people randomly pick one’. This time around the theme was ‘location’, so I chose ‘outdoors’. Early-teens Caesar does not approve.

I know this might just be a fashion fluke and that high boots might simply be especially popular garments, but if this isn’t the case… then I think I figured out who introduced them to Caesar.

“Caesar! What are you doing with your hermanito? He is not a substitute extension arm!”
Yeah, I can totally see his mom not liking Caesar’s ideas of how to make family time interesting. Come on, lady, can’t you see there’s science to be done!!
